Worked with this marketing agency to create EDS success stories. Coordinated with agency as a part of the contract consulting arrangement with EDS for a portion of the seven-year relationship before HP acquired the company.

Laser Beauty Medical spas
Worked with Mayo Clinic to manage North Texas-area public relations effort. As one of Mayo Clinic’s largest existing markets, the healthcare provider’s goal was to raise awareness of existing locations in Rochester, Minn., Jacksonville, Fla. and Phoenix Ar. among potential patients from North Texas. Media coverage achieved in The Dallas Morning News and other regional news.
Managed public relations campaign for website optimization and analytics company leading up to Accenture acquiring the company. The focus was on building brand awareness for Maxamine in the United States.

Services included developing and maintaining the public relations plan, media kit, messaging and media list, securing speaking opportunities, seeking out and nominating executives for awards and public recognition, writing news releases, case studies and articles, and contacting media to generate interview opportunities. The strategy also included advising on other communications issues to secure media opportunities and coverage to reach hospital systems and large medical practices.
Working as a contractor to Brooks & Associates Public Relations for seven years, served as the account lead for Microsoft’s Oil and Gas and Utilities industry groups. Created strategy and managed Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day for eight sites across the US for six years. The full-day events included activities and presentations to help kids understand what TI does and pique their interest in science, technology, engineering and math. Events attracted as many as 2000 children nation-wide with 500 at the corporate headquarters. Guest presenters and activity leaders included astronauts, meteorologists, scientists, celebrities who played scientists on TV and numerous TI employees. Also produced and directed a STEM-oriented video with Zoey 101 actress Erin Sanders as a part of the Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day event. Also managed an internal communication campaign for TI’s diversity initiative.
The Women's Museum
Managed the first annual Wine, Women & Shoes fundraiser in Dallas for the non-profit organization. Wine, Women & Shoes started as a series of three major events benefiting The Women’s Museum and is the brainchild of Elaine Honig, formerly of Napa Valley’s Honig Vineyard & Winery. The concept combines the culture of wine tasting with the fun and flair of shoe fashions as fundraisers for women’s organizations. The event series included a wine tasting/class, a luncheon and shoe fashion show and a series of private dinners over two days. This first event series netted more than $80,000, and The Women’s Museum continued hosting similar events annually for a few years.
Worked closely with Verizon Communications’ communication team to plan strategy, launch and communicate a new internal information technology cost initiative campaign called Save A Dime. The effort included growing use of digital workspaces for greater productivity.
Worked with Verizon Wireless via a small agency to launch its first smartphone to regional media. Secured on-camera product feature on North Texas major broadcast network newscast among other coverage.
Consulted over several years with VHA’s marketing team to write healthcare services marketing collateral, point-of-view and thought leadership articles, subject matter expert biographies and client success stories targeted to large hospital systems. Rewrote articles, reports and success stories based on new brand standards after after the company’s major rebranding effort.
